When it comes to achieving ‘health’ (whatever that means for you) or simply a health goal, whether it be losing weight, reducing portion sizes or eating mindfully, I believe the greatest thought to keep close in mind is:
Self worth is your health's greatest asset
When we really start to value ourselves, love ourselves and want better for ourselves, thats when real change happens and no longer do we hold a place in our life for old habits which keep us from achieving our goals.
It might be time to do a stocktake of your health and think whether your lack of self worth might be whats holding you back, once you do find it, I guarantee you won’t easily let it go!
